吉首台近震持续时间震级公式

摘要
利用吉首台ＤＤ—１型短周期地震仪记录的１９８７—１９９２年间的１２５次近震的垂直向尾波持续时间，用最小二乘法求出了该台的近震持续震级公式。实际验检结果表明，应用该公式不仅能快速地算出地震震级，而且结果较为准确。
In this paper, it is analyzed that the material of the coda duration time in Vertical component of 125 near earthquakes (1.2≤ML≤4.5, 30≤△≤400km) recorded by Type DD-1 short period seismograph at the Jishou seismo-station during 1987-1992, and the magnitude formula for the duration time of near earthquake was obtained using the least squares method. The testing results indicated that the application of this formula could make the magnitude computed not only quickly but also more precisely.
