摘要

近四十年来,伴随着改革开放和社会转型,中国古代史研究也经历了学科的重建、论域的扩展、方法的更新、议题的转化,取得了前所未有的辉煌成就和日渐扩大的社会影响。近四十年来的古代史研究以断代史的形式展开,几乎在每一个知识点上都获得了新的认识,但这些进展似乎又未形成新的整体性认识,甚至给人以"碎片化"的印象。站在历史新的节点上,如何评估近四十年中国古代史断代研究的总成绩,成为研究者必须直面的问题。有鉴于此,本刊编辑部协同相关单位于2018年底举办"改革开放四十年中国古代史断代研究的回顾与反思"学术研讨会,邀请亲历古代史研究四十年发展的代表性学者,对这一段学术史进行回顾与总结、反思与展望,以期助力古史研究的"再出发"。本期推出的这组笔谈,即是此次专题研讨会的部分成果。
        In recent forty years,along with the reform and opening-up as well as social transformation,the studies of ancient Chinese history also experience reconstruction of discipline,extension of domain,renewal of method,and change of topics,gaining unprecedented achievements and growing social influence.The studies mainly proceed in form of dynastic research,and acess to new knowledge on almost every point,but it seems that these achievements have not formed new holistic view,and even show a tendency of fragmentization.How to evaluate the total results in the period becomes an important issue that scholars must confront directly.The authors of this group of reviews are representative scholars who experience the course of forty years,and their observations can benefit the"new start"of studies of ancient history.
