15 MeV电子直线加速器驱动的光中子源研究进展

摘要
电子加速器驱动的白光中子源(TMSR Photo-Neutron Source)是为钍基熔盐堆(TMSR,Thorium Molten Salt Reactor)项目中钍-铀循环核数据测量而设计和建造的。该装置采用15 MeV电子直线加速器(LINAC)驱动,中子飞行路径约5 m,5 m处通量约~10~5 n/s/cm~2,可提供能量0.025~10 eV范围内连续中子束(白光中子)和低能伽马射线~1 MeV。它们可用于中子反应总截面测量、宏观截面测量。俘获截面测量和中子/伽马辐照等研究。
The photo-neutron source driven by 15 MeV electrons LIN AC in Thorium molten salt reactor(TMSR) project was designed for Th-U cycle nuclear data measurement.The photo-neutron source combined with time of flight(TOF) spectra is the most accurate method in neutron energy measurement,it plays a very important role in the thermal and resonance neutron cross section measurement.This photo-neutron facility supplys the 5 m flight path and neutron energy is available between 0.025 eV and ~10 eV) with the flux of ~10~5 n/s/cm~2 as well as low energy gamma ray ~1 MeV.This facilty will be used in measuring neutron total cross section,macro neutron cross section,neutron capture cross section,and neutron/gamma irradiation study as well.
