团体认同感与群体规模对球迷从众的影响

世界第一大运动的足球是一种重要的娱乐方式,球迷人数不断上升,球迷群体规模的高速增长也带动了相关产业的发展。在球迷群体中,团体认同感、群体规模都是引发群体行为的一个重要因素。本研究以足球球迷为研究对象,创建实验室从众情境来观察实验参与者的反应,可以发现团体认同感、群体规模对球迷从众行为的影响机制,研究结果可以丰富社会心理学中从众行为的相关理论,也对球迷健康欣赏足球运动产生实践意义,促进体育产业的发展。实验假设:(1)低团体认同感的球迷会更倾向于从众;(2)群体规模大时,从众的频率会更高;(3)团体认同感对从众的影响受到群体规模的调节。采用2×2两因素组间实验设计。自变量是不同团体认同感(高团体认同感、低团体认同感)和群体规模(5人、3人)。其中团体认同感和群体规模均为组间变量。因变量为规范性从众和信息性从众的频率。结果证实:(1)团体认同感在规范性从众上具有主效应(F=29.538,p<.01,η~2=0.12),在信息性从众上也具有主效应(F=43.767,p<.01,η~2=0.19),即相比于高团体认同感的球迷,低团体认同感的球迷更容易从众。(2)群体规模在规范性从众上具有主效应(F=31.998,p<.01,η~2=0.13),在信息性从众上也具有主效应(F=58.575,p<.01,η~2=0.26),即相比于3人的群体规模,5人群体规模的从众情境下,球迷从众频率会更高。(3)团体认同感与群体规模在规范性从众(F=2.768,p>.01,η~2=0)、信息性从众(F=2.036,p>.01,η~2=0)上不存在交互作用。因此,团体认同感、群体规模分别对球迷的从众行为产生影响,可以从团体认同感的层面对球迷的从众行为施加影响,避免盲目从众。
As the world's most popular sports, football is an important form of entertainment, the number of its fans is rising, the fast growth of fans' groups size has driven the development of relevant industries. In fans' group, the group identity and group size are important factors of group behaviors. This study's subject is football fans' group, via creating laboratory conformity situation to observe the reaction of the participants, thus find the impact mechanism of group identity and group size on fans conformity behavior. The results can enrich the social psychology theory of conformity behavior, make fans healthy enjoy football and have practical significance, then promote the development of sports industry. Experimental hypotheses:(1) fans with low group identity will be more inclined to conform;(2) when the group is large, the frequency of conformity will be higher;(3) group identity on conformity is moderated by group size. The experiment adopts 2×2 two-element between-subject design. Independent variables are different group identity(high group identity and low group identity) and group size(5, 3 individuals). The group identity and group size are all between-subjects factors. Dependent variable are the frequency of normative trend and informational conformity. Results are as follows:(1) group identity has main effect on the normative conformity(F=29.538,p<.01, η~2=0.12), and also informational conformity(F=43.767, p<.01, η~2=0.19),compared with fans with high group identity, fans with low group identity is more inclined to conform.(2) Team size has main effect on the normative conformity with(F=31.998, p<.01, η~2=0.13),and also the informational conformity(F=58.575,p<.01, η~2=0.26),and compared to the team size of 3 individuals, the frequency of conformity in the situation of 5 individuals is higher.(3) There is no interaction between group identity and team size on informational conformity(F=2.768, p>.01, η~2=0)and informational conformity(F=2.036, p>.01, η~2=0).Therefore,group identity and group size respectively affect conformity behavior. We can exert influence from the aspect of group identity on fans' conformity behavior and avoid blindly conform.
