Uranium mineralisation associated with shear zones occurring in the Variscan granites and high-grade metasediments of the Moldanubian zone. Based on detailed mineralogy and geochemistry of hydrothermally altered equivalents of the both rock groups' conditions of uranium mineralisation origin are discussed. Uranium mineralisation is represented by unique coffinite-uraninite-brannerite association evolved in aceites (episyenites).
