摘要

Tests of adding vitamin B₁₂-producing bacteria were carried out for the culturing of the
    rotifer Brachinous plicatilis (Thailand S strain)．Among 18 bacterial strains isolated from ro-tifer culture tank，one strain of Pseudomonas，TP4，a vitamin B_l2 producer，appeared a
    significant complementary effect on rotifer growth．C ultures with the strain TP4 addition showed that the rotifer density increased from 124—139 to 4，417—4，540 ind．/m1 in 2 liter beakers and from 242—288 to 1，017—1，254 ind ．/ml in 500 liter tanks ，and the in ereased rates were 4—6 and 2—3 times higher than that of the controls during the culture periods of 9 and 6 d ays，respectively_．
