Volcanic Reservoir Fracture Description and Evaluation of Single Well in Xushen Gas Field

To evaluate the impact of fracture on single well productivity methods such as core description, CT image analysis, conventional logging and so on are applied to study development feature of fracture in Xushen gas field. And simultaneously logging data are applied to qualitatively or quantitatively identify and calculate fracture parameters such as porosity and density and define fracture direction. The results demonstrate that in volcanonic reservoir fracture-pores formation take dominant place followed pores and the least is pores-fracture type; main pores of Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ grade volcano reservoir are respectively high level fracture with good effectiveness, micro-fracture with relatively good effectiveness and micro-fracture with relatively poor effectiveness. Main directions of fractures are NNW and NE.
