摘要
In order to find out material sources and rock-forming background of sedimentary rock in the three wells formation in Gansu Beishan area,the detailed field observation and microscopic identification were made on the conglomerate and grit in the formation and and geochemical characteristics of the fine sandstone and mudstone are analysed.It is considered that the Three Wells Formation is complicated in source materials with medium sorting grinding and quick accumulation.The swedimentary materials mainly come from volcanic island arc and active continental marginal orogenic belts and the sedimentation area is characterized by the marginal foreland basin.
