The Lower Cretaceous Sequence-Stratigraphy of the Lishu Faulted Depression in the Songliao Basin
详细信息
摘要

Through integrated studies of outcrops, cores, well logs and seismic data, sequence boundaries are identified and the sequence stratigraphic framework is established for the lower Cretaceous in the Lishu Faulted Depression of the Songliao Basin. The lower Cretaceous can be divided into two second-order se- quences, six third-order sequencesSQ1-SQ6 and sixteen system tracts. Basin tectonic movement of the faults, periodic change of water levels, and sediment supply commonly control the evolution of sequences. The research results show that. the sequences in the Shahezi and Yingcheng formations have complete sys- tems tracts because of the large accommodation space and strong source supply during rapid subsidence of the Lishu Faulted Depression. On the contrary, the sequences in the Denglouku Formation have no low- stand tracts system because of the weak faults activity and flat palaeogeomorphology. In general, the se- quences in the northern and southern parts of the study area are thinner than in the central part, and those in the eastern part are thinner than in the western part. Some formations in the northern, southern and eastern parts of the study area have been eroded significantly, removing several sequences. Sequence devel- opment controls the deposition of sand bodies and the distribution of oil and gas reservoirs. There are four favorable sand bodies identified in the study area, constituting four oil and gas reservoirs which have three combination patterns.
