Coal bed gas is always associated with coal.  Coal bed gas occurs as adsorbed gas in pores and fissures of coal.  Coal bed gas resources in our country are about oft-com:office:smarttags" />32 000 Gm³ which convert into 45 Gt standard coal or 35 Gt standard oil, corresponding to natural gas resources in the China continent.  Coal bed gas resources in Sichuan Province are about 348 Gm³.  This paper deals with eight problems of exploration and exploitation of coal bed gas in Sichuan Province, especially, problems of pressure burst, drainage and comprehensive study.  oft-com:office:office" />
