     No.1 Kedong structure is an anticline like broken nose develops at the Kunlun piedmont in the southwest depression of the Tarim Basin. Kd1 well drilling in the Cretaceous got a high yield. The geochemical characteristics of Crude oil show that the oil is medium maturity oil including high wax. Maturity analysis suggest that low molecular weight hydrocarbons are produced in high-over ripe stage, and the high molecular weight hydrocarbons maturity parameters indicated that when the oil formed, hydrocarbon source rocks are at high-over ripe stage. Therefore, the authors think that kd1 crude oil is mixed from Permian hydrocarbon source rocks mature period, high ripe stage.
