     Recently, for horizontal wells in tight sandstone reservoir with low permeability, there is still no reasonable and effective log interpretation method for accurate evaluation of hydrocarbon potential of such reservoir. Through directly admitting the physical sample back to the wellbore, the mud logging techniques can visually and effectively collect and evaluate the hydrocarbon-bearing information. The results of the evaluation are relatively more convincing. In comparative study for multi-horizontal wells of Honghe Oil Field, the data of well logging interpretation, comprehensive mud logging evaluation and production test did not show much consistent positive correlation, and even have great difference in a portion of wells.
