     In this paper, on the basis of the characteristics of coal measure, and the content and component of some main coal measures (M13, M15, M21, M29, M32, M34), CBM resource of Niuchang syncline, Zhijin, Guizhou was studied in detail. The result shows that CBM resource in the coalfield is up to 18.39×108 m³, and that CBM resource in central syncline is more than that in the wing of syncline.
