This paper presents the application of the research method and technical thinking of seismic sedimentoloty to the Lower Cretaceous of Chunfeng oilfield in Chepaizi area in Junggar Basin,analyzes the reservoir fine isochronal correlation approaches such as seismic data drive constraining,multilayer control and Wheele tract transformation,and improves the technologies of stratigraphic isochronal slice and dual-tract interpretation,according to the reservoir fine classification and correlation as well as minimum unit and the seismic-reservoir relations.Finally,it discusses the reservoir prediction and description methods based on seismic sedimentology.
