Beginning with an introduction to earthquake activities of seismic hazard zones and low seismicity zones in Guangxi, this paper explicitly proposes division methods and standards of low seismicity zones in North Guangxi, and analyzes the activity characteristics in low seismieity zones. Earthquakes with M_L≥2.8 in the smooth and enhanced activity areas of low seismieity zones are, to some extent, relevant to moderate earthquakes in Guangxi and neighboring regions, which is proved dependable using statistical method to analyze its credibility. Earthquake activities in low seismieity zones are of practical value in the trend analysis of earthquakes in Guangxi.
