摘要
Seismic records of M>5.0 earthquakes during 2008 to 2009 were acquired at 6 seismic stations in Pu’er and Xishuangbanna region. We obtained S-wave velocity structure beneath these stations by receiver function analysis and Qβ model from attenuation coefficients of surface waves.Based on the resulted velocity model,we evaluated the relationship between peak accelerations and epicentral distances, ranging from 10 to 300 km,for the 2007 Ning’er earthquake with random vibration theory method.Through comparing the predicted peak ground motion with that calculated from regression attenuation formula, the feasibility of the used prediction method is discussed. The comparison shows that the two results are consistent, indicting the predicted ground motion being reasonable.
