From 1970s to 2000s, the geophysical water exploration in karst mountain of Guizhou Province mainly used electroprofile, electrical sounding, induced polarization sounding of normal electrical method and radioactive a card method. For the development of geophysical electrical instruments in recent 10 years, geophysical water exploration mainly uses high-density electrical method. Although it received good effect in water exploration, because it is single and influenced by landform, lithology and structure, the well completion rate is only 85%. Therefore, the geophysical water exploration must develop to technology and comprehensible research.
