This study specified a polluted riparian zone of Sui River, Huaibei in Anhui Province to research the effect of common surface pollutant sources on groundwater. Based on a field investigation, pumping test and slug test in the polluted riparian zone, a systemic study was carried out in respect of hydrodynamic. The results of simulation demonstrated that there was no obvious hydraulic connection between the polluted river and the shallow aquifer, and the hydraulic connection between the deep aquifer and the shallow aquifer was weak.
