Geological Features and Range of Reconnaissance for Uranium Mineralization in a Basin, Gangdisê Metallogenic Belt, Tibet
摘要
The studied basin lies in the eastern margin of the Gangdisê Mts. and is a Cenozoic intermountain basin which underwent multiphase volcanism and tectonism. Many uranium geochemical anomalies occur in the Pliocene Gazhacun Formation and Zhongdangcun Formation on the northern margin of the basin. The uranium mineralization is confined to tuff, sandstone, granulite, intermediate and basic volcanic rock as well as quartz porphyry. This paper makes an approach to geological features of uranium in the basin and range of reconnaissance for the uranium mineralization in the Gangdisê metallogenic belt.
