One of merits for high fidelity vibroseis acquisition is to gain single vibrator records by separating arithmetically stacking data of multi-vibrators and multi-sweeps. The method reduces source array effect and improves the data accuracy. By testing different number of vibrators and different sweeps and analyzing field data, the relationship between energy and the number of vibrators and sweeps is found. The experiments show that the maximum energy of a single vibrator should meet geological requirements for high fidelity vibroseis acquisition.
