Based on the characteristics of aeromagnetic anomaly and geologic features in the Zhugang area of Liancheng County, the paper described the genesis of the Tianxin iron polymetallic deposit in the northern part of the anomalous zone. It is inferred that the strata of Jingshe Formation, which is situated at the Paleozoic sedimentation basin on the eastern limb of the anticline in the Liancheng-Shanghang synclinorium, is a favorable metallogenic horizon of iron polymetals and that the wider magnetic anomaly results from the platy magnetic geological body such as the magnetite and pyrrhotite in the lower strata of Jiangshe Formation. Therefore, it is considered that the surveyed area is a potential target area of hunting for deep and hidden ores, which is hopeful to come true the breakthrough of ore prospecting.weight: normal">
