摘要

Laochang mining field is a part of Liupanshui coalfield which is an important coal base of south China, the location is Laochang of Fuyuan County, Yunnan province. By analysis the palaeostructure and palaeogeographic background and sedimentary association, the depositional environment and coal accumulation of the third member, Longtan formation of this region are studied in this paper, it’s thought that the Longtan formation showed as a big regressive, several workability seams formed by the happening of peat swamp after the subjacent sediment discarded.
