Tianjin is one of cities which rich in geothermal resources and it developed and used the resources in the earlier time in China. Geothermal resources have become the rare and clean energy in Tianjin economic development and urban environment quality improvement. However, the main geothermal reservoirs have formed depression cones. Minghuazhen Fm. geothermal reservoir formed depression cones in the urban areas and the four new districts. Guantao Fm. geothermal reservoir formed the largest depression cone in Dagang; and Wumishan Fm. geothermal reservoir in the urban area formed a large cone of depression.
