A comprehensive survey in the last four years shows that 9 different Cretaceous basins in Zhejiang Province yield abundant dinosaurs and their eggs, including 5 species of dinosaurs and 24 different oospecies of dinosaur eggs. These fossils occur mainly in the Liangtoutang Formation, Chichengshan Formation of the Tiantai Group in the Tiantai Basin and the Jinhua Formation of the Qujiang Group in the Jinqu Basin. Abundant dinosaur and egg fossils are also present in the Chaochuan and Fangyan formations of the Yongkang Group in Yongkang, Nanma, Chengzhou, Xuanju,  Zhuji and Hushan.
