Processing Techniques for the Low S/N Seismic Data of the Complex Mountainous Area in MD

In this paper, the authors analyzed the processing difficulties for structure ascertaining, and proposed some basic processing techniques, including multi-line joint tomographic static correction, prestack strong interference suppression, wave group consistency processing. Migration velocity field was established by DMO velocity analysis, dense-velocity analysis, combined with velocity scanning and velocity spectrum, and well-controlling pre-stack time migration was calibrated by VSP measured velocity, which improved the reliability of prestack migration of complex structures. The series of processing techniques were applied on actual data from MD, the result indicates that the S/N of seismic sections was largely increased.
