///Based on the borehole data, seismic data and the preliminary restoration of the strata thickness of Kongdian Formation, the authors identified the space distribution characteristics of the raised and depressed tectonic units in Kongdian period during its four basin stages, restored the ancient tectonic units in the various stages of the continental faulted basin, obtained the evolutionary process of the basins in Kongdian period: the ancient tectonic units, in the south and north of basin, were of obvious differences, on the whole, the geotectonic elements were more various and the evolutionary process was more complex in the north basin, and the mono-faulted basin evolved into "double-faulted" basin and "double layer structure" basin.
