Based on an analysis of gravity and magnetic anomaly characteristics of the Shilu ore district, this paper has summed up the relationship between gravity and magnetic anomaly characteristics and ore bodies, and examined the effectiveness of the gravity magnetic method in ore-prospecting. With the ore-prospecting model, the authors guide the exploration in the depth and around the periphery. On such a basis, the prospect area can be extended and the resource reserves are likely to be increased.
