基于JPEG2000的静态图像压缩的研究

摘要
现代信息技术的发展,极大地改善了人的生活质量,尤
    其是计算机多媒体技术的发展,给人们的生活带来无穷乐趣。
    图像压缩技术在多媒体技术领域中占有重要的位置。
     本文首先介绍了图像数据压缩的重要性和JPEG压缩标
    准,接着介绍了小波变换理论及其在图像压缩中的应用,尤
    其重点地介绍了金字塔算法及其快速实现方法一一提升方
    案,该方案通过一系列简单的提升步骤来完成复杂的矩阵乘
    法运算,大大地降低金字塔算法实现的时间和空间复杂度,
    接着由嵌入式零树小波编码算法和多级树集合分裂算法到
    JPEG2000静态国际压缩标准,尤其重点阐述JPEG2000涉及
    的一些小波编码的核心技术,如提升方案和EBCOT等,并对
    以上各算法进行比较。
     最后本文针对提升方案在二维情形下算法复杂度仍然较
    大的问题,提出了相应的简化措施。以CDF9/7滤波器为例,
    通过VC++编程对改进后的算法进行了实现,在JPEG2000中
    取得了良好的效果。实验结果表明,该简化措施能够减少一
    定的乘法运算次数并且将无理数转化为有理数进行运算,实
    现了降低运算复杂度的日的。
Abstract
     With the development of information technology, the living
    condition is enhanced. In particular, multi-medium technology becomes
    more creative. The image compression technology play a important role
    In the multi--medium and networking technology.
     At first, this thesis introduces the importance of image compression
    and JPEG compression standard. Secondly ,the wavelet transformation
    theory and its effect in image compression are introduced, especially the
    pyramidal algorithm and its fast realization--lifting scheme, this scheme
    can decrease the time and space complexity of wavelet transform greatly.
    Thirdly, from EZW and SPIHT to JPEG2000 still image compression
    standard, some wavelet coding techniques are especially Introduced, such
    as lifting scheme and EBCOT. Then, there is a compare about many
    arithmetic above.
     As for the high computational complexity of two--dimensional
    wavelet transform, we propose corresponding simplified method. Taken
    CDF9/7 filter as an example, this method can make good effect in
    JPEG2000 by realization with Visual C++. That is to say, the realization
    can decrease the multiplications of lifting scheme, and can improve the
    performance considerably.
