水声信道中基于小波变换和零树法的彩色图像压缩编码研究及其DSP实现

摘要
水声信道多媒体信息传输包括了语音、图像以及数据传输。它在海洋环境、经济乃至军事领域都有着非常重要的地位,也是当今世界上,各国科研工作者投入大量的人力物力的热门课题。本研究介绍了以一幅64×64点阵的彩色图像为基础,利用小波的优良特性对图像信息进行变换处理,并使用改变的零树法进行编码,完成数字化彩色图像信号的数据压缩,对在水声信道中传输彩色图像做出积极的尝试和探讨。
     本方法从水声信道实际需要出发对零树法加以改变,并在TC环境下完成小波变换及改变的零树法的软件设计,在TI公司的CCS软件提供的DEBUG环境下、闻亭公司以TI公司数字信号处理芯片(DSP)TMS320C6201为核心芯片的WT6201评估板上完成硬件程序运行。发送端通过WINNOV公司的PCI采集卡Videum VO实时采集静态图像,以真彩色BMP文件格式保存到硬盘上,再由DSP进行小波变换,用零树法压缩编码,并将压缩后的数字化信号进行传输。接收端同样使用DSP来完成解压缩和小波反变换,重建为BMP图像。
     第一章给出对水声信道特性简介以及图像信息传输的系统框图、本研究创新之处;第二章介绍图像处理的基本技术以及本研究的硬件环境;第三章介绍图像数据的变换方法,着重介绍了小波变换涉及到的知识;第四章介绍图像编码,重点介绍了零树法编解码;第五章介绍本研究的软件、硬件设计、对零树法的具体改变。在第六章给出试验结果和总结。
The tra11sInission of multimedia infOrmation ill the underwater acoustic channel inc1udes; voice,
    image and data transmission. lt takes important status in fields such as ocean environment, econolny,
    nlilitary affairs. It is also a subject to which so many researchers and scholars had devoted much
    mdnpower and material resources. Tl1is paper introduced using wavelet's well specialty to process
    ilnage information and changed zero t]ree lnetllod to complete compression. lt is an active attempt
    and discuss about information transmis5iiol1 in underwater acoustic channel.
    Basi11g on the practice require, zeIo tree lnethod l1as been changed. The software design, which
    includes wavelet transform and cl1anged zero tree method, is accomplisI1ed with TC. Then, DEBUG
    of 'I'I Company's CCS software is used to change TC progran1 to hardware program. WT620l board,
    wllose center cI1ip is Tl's Digital Signal Processor (DSP) TMS320C620l, is used to run tl1e program.
    ln sending port, video capture card of WlNNOV Company, Videum VO is used to get real time still
    ilnages and save them to hard disk as BMP fOrl11at files. Thel1, DSP is used to finish wavelet
    transformation and changed zero tree coding. In receive port, DSP is also used to finish waveIet
    reverse tral1slbnnation and cl1al1ged zero tree decodil1g, rebuilding the BMP image.
    'l'lle brief introduction of underwater acoustic channel and the cl1art of image transmission

    in this prOject are introduced in the seco11d chapteL Transform methods, especially the wavelet
    transformation are introdtlced il1 the tl1ird cllapter. II11age's coding methods are introduced in cl1apter
    fOur, witll tIlem tI1e zero tree method is the el11pl1ases. I11 cl1apter five, tI1ere are introductions of
    software al1d hardware program design, detail of chal1ged zero tree method. And, all the resuIts and
    discuss are give11 in chapter six.
