MIPv6环境下QoS信令的改进与仿真实现

摘要
随着Internet技术的发展,IP网络用户数量日益庞大,实时业务与日俱增。这些业务与传统的IP业务不同,除了对单纯的信息传输有要求外,对时延、带宽等也有明确的要求。与此同时,由于移动通信技术的迅猛发展,实时业务被引入到移动网络环境下,从而对移动网络环境下的服务质量(QoS——Quality of Service)保证提出了新的要求,因此,如何在移动IPv6网络中提供QoS保证是目前研究的热点。
     现有移动IPv6的QoS解决方案大都是基于RSVP协议,但是鉴于RSVP在安全性、灵活性和扩展性等方面面临着诸多问题,本课题引入下一代信令协议(NSIS——Next Steps in Signaling)。NSIS根据模块化的要求将信令协议分成两层:信令传输层(NTLP——NSIS Transport Layer Protocol)和信令应用层(NSLP——NSISSignaling Layer Protocol),这种体系结构在很大程度上决定了NSIS的灵活性和可扩展性。
     本文的创新点主要在于将NTLP层协议栈扩展到移动IPv6环境中,最终提出一个NTLP层协议栈在典型移动IPv6环境下的跨层信令流。主要解决了NTLP层协议栈在移动IPv6环境下的状态管理问题和传输机制问题。同时在NS2网络仿真平台上实现NTLP协议栈,并在NS2网络仿真平台上评估了NTLP层协议栈提供的上层信令消息传输服务的性能。
With the development of Internet technology, there are an increasing large number of users and growing real-time services. Different from the traditional IP service, in addition to the request of simple information transmission, the real-time services also have clear requirement of delay and bandwidth. Meanwhile, due to the rapid development of the mobile communication technology, the real-time services are also applied under mobile network environment, and new requirements of QoS (Quality of Service) guarantee are proposed in mobile network environment. Therefore, how to provide QoS guarantee in the Mobile IPv6 network is a hot topic.
     The existing solutions of QoS in Mobile IPv6 are most based on RSVP. However, due to RSVP's shortcomings in security, flexibility and scalability, the NSIS (Next Steps in Signaling) protocol suite has been introduced into our research project. According to the modular requirement, the NSIS protocol suite is structured in two layers: signalingtransport layer (NTLP—NSIS Transport Layer Protocol) and signalingapplication layer (NSLP—NSIS Signaling Layer Protocol), and thelayered architecture determines the flexibility and scalability of NSIS.
     The main innovation of this paper is to extend the NTLP protocol suite to Mobile IPv6 networks. In addition, we propose a cross layer signaling flow of our extensions in typical NSIS depoyment models. We focus on the state management and the signaling transport mechanisms of the NTLP protocol suite in Mobile IPv6 scenarios. And we also propose the corresponding solutions to solve the existing problems. The NTLP protocol suite on NS2 simulation platform has been implemented. With the deployment models, we evaluate the performance of signaling transport service provided by the NTLP protocol suite.
