基于MPEG-4的嵌入式网络视频监控系统研究

摘要
视频监控系统在工业生产和日常生活中得到了广泛的应用,目前新兴的基于嵌入式技术的网络视频监控系统与传统的视频监控系统相比具有体积小、成本低、稳定性高、实时性好等优点,具有良好的应用与发展前景。因此研究并开发一种嵌入式网络视频监控系统具有重要的实际意义。
     本文在研究了当前视频监控系统的基础上,构建了一套基于MPEG-4压缩标准的嵌入式网络视频监控系统。此系统由两部分组成,分别是前端嵌入式网络视频终端子系统和后端客户端子系统。这两个子系统通过传输网络进行数据的交互和信息的传递,传输网络可以是Internet或Intranet。
     文中首先介绍了视频监控的发展历程,然后对嵌入式网络视频监控系统中的相关技术予以讨论,包括视频和音频的数字化及编码、嵌入式系统技术以及视频的网络传输技术等。随后研究了嵌入式视频监控系统总体结构,对前端嵌入式网络视频终端子系统以及后端客户端子系统的硬件及软件总体结构进行了论述。在此基础上,详细论述了系统硬件的各组成模块,包括基于MCF5307的主控模块、基于以太网和RS485的通信接口模块、基于SAA7114H和CS5340的音视频采集处理模块及基于IME6400的音视频编码压缩模块。系统的软件主要分为前端视频终端子系统软件和后端客户端子系统软件。前端视频终端子系统软件首先介绍系统软件dBUG Bootloader和μClinux嵌入式操作系统,以此为基础,研究分析运行在μClinux上为完成前端视频终端子系统功能的应用软件,主要包括音视频采集、音视频压缩、音视频发送、云台与镜头控制、用户管理和系统配置等模块。后端客户端子系统软件主要实现网络音视频流的接收、播放、保存、回放,以及实现相应的视频监控系统服务器的配置,如云台控制、对客户端访问的控制以及前端摄像机的功能配置。
     最后,在总结全文的基础上,提出了若干有待进一步深入研究和探讨的问题,并对今后的研究工作提出了一些建议。
Video monitoring is applied widely in industry production and daily life.At present new and developing network video monitoring system based on embedded technology have the advantages of smaller volume,lower cost,higher stability and better real time nature than traditional video monitoring,and have fine application and developping prospect.So researching and developing a embedded network video monitoring system has great significance.
     This dissertation designs a embedded network video monitoring system based on MPEG-4 on the basis of researching current video monitoring system.The video monitoring system is composed of two parts. One is the fore-end embedded network video terminal subsystem,the other is the back-end client subsystem.The two subsystems transmit information and exchange data by transfer network which can be Internet or Intranet.
     Firstly the dissertation introduces the progress of the video monitoring.The correlative technologies of the embedded network video monitoring system are discussed,including the digitization and coding of audio and video,technology of embedded system and network transmission.Then we research and discuss the overall structure of embedded video monitoring system including the hardware and software of the fore-end and back-end subsystems.On this basis the modules of hardware system are detailed discussed,including the host control module based on MCF5307,communication interface module based on Ethernet and RS485,audio and video collection module based on SAA7114H and CS5340,audio and video coding module based on IME6400.The software of system can be divided into two parts,which are fore-end video terminal subsystem software and back-end client subsystem software.About fore-end video terminal subsystem software the system software dBUG Bootloader andμClinux embedded operating system are first introduced.On this basis,the dissertation analyzes application software which is running onμClinux,including audio and video collection,coding and sending module,Pan/Tilt and camera lens controlling module,user management module and system configuration module.Back-end client subsystem software is used to receive,play,save,replay network audio and video stream,configure server such as Pan/Tilt controlling,accessing controlling and vidicon function configuration.
     Finally, on the basis of summarization of the research work, some problems which should be discussed deeply are put forward and some suggestions for the future researches are also given.
