40Cr农机传动轴断裂失效分析

摘要
40Cr传动轴在使用过程中出现断裂现象。为了找出断裂原因,利用体视显微镜、直读光谱仪和光学显微镜等设备对断轴的断口形貌、化学成分和显微组织进行了观察与检验分析。结果表明:由于淬火冷却缓慢,网状铁素体沿奥氏体晶界析出,使调质后存在较大组织应力,降低材料的强度,是断裂的主要原因;较严重的非金属夹杂物也增加了断裂倾向。建议通过控制淬火液介质中杂质的含量、介质的温度和淬火的冷却时间,使调质后形成均匀细针状索氏体,提高材料的综合力学性能,避免使用过程中发生断裂现象。
Parts of drive shafts made of 40 Cr steel present fracture phenomenon in early using life.To find out the reasons of fracturing in the early using life and avoid the appearance of early failure of the drive shafts again,the macroscopic fracture figures,the chemical compositions,and the microstructures of the drive shafts were analyzed by using the stereo microscope,the direct reading spectrometer and optical microscope.The results showed that the chemical compositions met the requirements of the shaft.And the main reasons causing the fracture of shafts in the early using life were that,the network ferrite precipitated along the grain boundary of austenite because of the slow cooling in the quenching process,which caused the large organization stress existing after quenching and tempering,and the decrease of strength and toughness.What's more,the many Non-metallic inclusions made the shaft fracture easily.To avoid the appearance of the fracture in the using life,controlling the impurity and temperature of the quenching liquid and cooling time of the quenching is suggested,to form the acicular tempered sorbite after the quenching and tempering and possess fine comprehensive mechanical properties.
