一种低剖面圆环Metasurface混合背腔平面螺旋天线

摘要
设计了一种低剖面圆环超表面(Metasurface,MS)混合背腔平面螺旋天线。通过在原始平面螺旋天线一侧加载圆环metasurface混合背腔,实现了平面螺旋天线的单向辐射,改善了天线低频性能,有效降低了天线整体剖面高度。圆环MS设计依据圆形背腔的结构特点,且在外圈加载时更易在本身剖面较低(介质厚度仅为1mm)的情况下实现低频谐振。研究结果表明:加载圆环MS混合背腔后,在1.4~7.3GHz工作频率范围,天线具有良好的匹配、增益和轴比特性,尤其在低频部分,天线的增益和轴比性能都得到明显改善。天线整体剖面高度仅为0.065λ_(1.4GHz)。
A low profile cavity-backed planar spiral antenna is proposed and designed based on hybrid ring-shaped metasurface(MS). The unidirectional radiation pattern, the improved antenna performance at low frequency range and the valid reduction of antenna profile are achieved by loading the hybrid ring-shaped MS cavity to the primary planar spiral antenna. The ring-shaped MS coheres with the structure characteristic of the circular cavity-backed. Additionally, under the low profile of the substrate case(the thickness is only 1mm), the low operation band could be easily obtained when the ring-shaped MS is applied at the outer region of the cavity. The research results indicate that, at the operation band from 1.4GHz to 7.3GHz, good impedance matching, high gain and excellent axial ratio are achieved by loading the hybrid ring-shaped MS cavity. Especially at the low-frequency range, the antenna gain and axial ratio are improved remarkably. Meanwhile, the profile of the proposed antenna is merely 0.065λ1.4GHz.
