摘要
文学翻译不仅与语言本身相关,更涉及到意识形态、文化、修辞和意象等多方面,正是因为这些因素,使得译者很难在目标语中找到与之对等的表达;况且,语言本身在词汇、语法、韵律以及风格上的差异也十分巨大。因此,在文学翻译中,译者会根据目标语的表达习惯,增添或改变原文的内容,同样,由于上述各种原因,也会失去原文中的某些内容。本文将通过案例分析,讨论不同文体在文学翻译中的得与失,从中得出结论:好的翻译不能添加过多信息,也不能丢失大量信息。通过这些分析,可以提高译者的翻译技巧。
Literary translation not only relates to language itself, but also involves in ideology, culture, image, rhetorical devices and other factors. Because of these differences and factors, the translator can not find complete equivalent expressions in target languages. Moreover, languages themselves have differences in vocabulary, grammar, rhythm and style. So in literary translation, there must exist some loss and gain. This paper will discuss the loss and gain of different literary genres in different aspects by analyzing some examples, which concludes that a good translation can not lose or gain too much. From these analysis, the translator's translating skills will be improved.
