运动员生命意义的质性研究

摘要
对生命意义的探索,历来受到古代先哲们的关注。奥地利精神病学家Frankl率先从存在主义心理学的角度对生命意义进行研究,并建立了Frankl生命意义理论。这一理论对于理解在竞争极端残酷、以挑战极限为日常任务的运动员有重要价值。目的:本研究以Frankl生命意义理论为基础,研究运动员在长期运动生涯中形成的对生命意义的体验和理解,包含有在极端的心理疲劳与压力情况下的生命意义状况。生命意义,指的是生命意义感,即个体对自己生命目的、存在价值、重要生命事件等的知觉和感受。方法:本文采用质性研究方法,对9名专业运动员进行访谈,采用扎根理论对运动员生命意义进行编码分析。结果:(1)运动员生命意义包含6个维度:挫折接纳、家人支持、坚持的理由、目标、生命控制和对项目的深厚感情;(2)运动员心理疲劳与压力激发了运动员对生命意义的探索和寻求。结论:(1)运动员生命意义与Frankl生命意义理论相符合,可以看作是Frankl生命意义内涵在运动员群体中的应用;(2)运动员生命意义中主要展现出经验性价值的特点,如家人的爱与亲情对运动员有重要作用和深远影响,如反映了儒家文化重人伦的特点。
To explore the meaning of life, has always been the concern of ancient sages. Austria psychiatrist Frankl first studied the meaning in life from the perspective of existential psychology, and established Frankl's theory of meaning in life. This theory is of great value for understanding athletes who compete in extremely cruel environment and challenge limit every day. Purpose: This study is based on Frankl's theory of meaning in life, to explore the experience and understanding of meaning in life which is formed in long sport career of athletes. Especially in extreme burnout and stressful situation. Meaning in life, which refers to the sense of meaning in life, means perception and feeling of one's purpose in life, existential value, and important life events. Method: Qualitative method is adopted, including interviewing with 9 professional athletes, and coding with grounded theory. Results:(1)Athletes' meaning in life included six parts: suffering acceptance, family support, reason for upholding, life purpose, life control, deep feeling for sports;(2)Athletes' burnout and stress have stimulated the exploration and search for meaning in life. Conclusions:(1) Athletes' meaning in life is consistent with Frankl's theory of meaning in life;(2) Athletes' meaning in life show empirical value characteristics, such as family's love and affection is important and far-reaching influence on athletes, such as reflects the characteristics of Chinese confucian culture.
