基于双模介质谐振器的带通正交耦合器

摘要
本文提出了一种实现带通正交耦合器的设计方法。由于介质谐振器(DR)具有很多优异的特性,本文利用四个工作在HEH_(11)模式的圆柱形介质谐振器来实现具有带通滤波功能的正交耦合器。通过改变DR之间的交叉阻抗可以轻易控制耦合系数。作为说明,设计实现了一个耦合系数为6d B,相位正交且具有带通滤波特性的耦合器。
This paper proposes an approach to implement a bandpass quadrature coupler. Motivated by the excellent properties of dielectric resonators(DRs), four cylindrical dielectric resonators operating at HE11 mode are utilized to implement a quadrature coupler with additional bandpass filtering function integrated. The coupling coefficient can be easily controlled by the cross irises between the DRs. For demonstration purposes, a quadrature coupler was designed to exhibit the 6 d B coupling coefficient together with bandpass filtering characteristics over an operating frequency of 5.2 GHz.
