摘要
可调谐性作为多波长光纤激光器的重要指标之一,可以用来评判激光器性能。为了增强多波长光纤激光器的可调谐性,以适应密集波分复用系统与微波光子学的需求,基于布里渊效应,通过三个布里渊频移腔(BFS,包括有两个双倍频腔与一个单倍频腔),以及三个掺铒光纤放大器(EDFA)联合,设计了一种1×5倍Brillouin频移的可调多波长布里渊掺铒光纤激光器(MWBEFL)。EDFA作为受激布里渊散射(SBS)的开关控制不同倍频间隔的多波长产生,通过适当地调节不同EDFA的输出功率在实验中得到了单、双、三、四、五倍Brillouin频移的多波长输出,波长间隔分别为0.086 nm、0.172 nm、0.258 nm、0.344 nm、0.430 nm,对应斯托克斯光(BS)阶数分别为18、7、5、2、1,并且输出激光在30 min的测量时间内表现出很好的功率稳定性,最大的功率波动分别为0.867 dB,0.594 dB,0.438 dB,0.814 dB,0.389 dB。
        Tunability is one of the important indicators of multi-wavelength fiber lasers and can be used toevaluate laser performance.In order to enhance the tunability of multi-wavelength fiber lasers to meet demand for dense wavelength division multiplexing systems and microwave photonics,based on the Brillouin effect,amulti-wavelength Brillouin erbium-doped fiber laser(MWBEFL) with 1×5 tunable Brillouin frequency spacing isdesigned by combining three Brillouin frequency shift(BFS,Including two double Brillouin frequency shift cavityand one single Brillouin frequency shift cavity) cavities and three erbium-doped fiber amplifiers(EDFA).EDFA isused as a switch for stimulated Brillouin scattering(SBS) to dominate multi-wavelength generation with different frequency spacing.By properly adjusting the output power of the different EDFAs.The multi-wavelength outputswith the single,double,triple,quadruple,and quintuple Brillouin frequency spacing are obtained in the experiment,and the wavelength spacing are 0.086 nm,0.172 nm,0.258 nm,0.344 nm,and 0.430 nm,respectively,thecorresponding number of Stokes light(BS) is 18,7,5,2,1,respectively,and the output laser shows good power stability during the measurement time of 30 mins,the maximum power fluctuations are 0.867 dB,0.594 dB,0.438 dB,0.814 dB,0.389 dB.
