摘要
优势教育是一种"扬长式"的教育,经过多年的理论探索和实践发展,已经形成了较为丰富的理论成果和广泛应用的实践经验。西方发达国家优势教育的理论与实践的推进,主要是政府和学校教育组织的积极推动,其教育价值观强调优势的挖掘,关注学生的亮点与闪光点,它以积极心理学为理论依据,开发了"优势检测系统工具"。优势教育的开展促进了师生之间的良性互动,构建了基于优势的课堂内外教育活动模式与原则,加强了学校与社区的合作。西方发达国家优势教育的理论和实践探索,对我国从"补短式教育""批评式教育"到"扬长式教育""欣赏式教育"的转变具有实际的价值。
        Advantages education,as a kind of education encouraging advantages,has produced abundant theoretical achievements and practical experiences widely applied through many years of theoretical exploration and practical development. For the development of theories and practices of Advantage Education in the western developed countries,the government and educational institutions play an active role in promoting its development. It emphasizes exploring advantages,and focuses the advantages and the worthy aspects of students based on the positive psychology with the strength detesting system developed. Advantage Education facilitates the positive interaction between teachers and students,constructs the teaching model and principles based on advantages within and outside of classroom,and reinforces school-community cooperation. Theoretical and practical explorations of Advantage Education in western developed countries take feasible value for the transformation from education of making up for weakness and criticism education to education of encouraging Advantage and appreciative education.
