美国大学图书馆Scholars' Commons 建设的案例及启示

Scholars'Commons是大学图书馆面向研究生提供服务的模式之一,其整合了空间、服务、技术、人员等要素,目的在于促进更高效的科研产出。文章介绍了Scholars'Commons的内涵及作用,并以美国四所大学图书馆的Scholars'Commons建设情况为分析案例,结合对其建设过程和建设结果的综合分析,提出了对国内大学图书馆开展相关建设的启示。
Scholars' Commons is one of the modes for academic libraries to provide service targeting at graduate students,which integrates space,service,technology and staff,aiming at promoting scientific research outputs.The article introduces the definition and functions of Scholars' Commons,takes four academic libraries' experience of constructing Scholars' Commons as examples,analyzes their constructing progress and results,and draws some enlightenment for our academic libraries to carry on relevant services.
