How mankind gets alone with the environment peacefully is not only an ecological issue, but also an ethical issue. With the voice of "save the planet" and the environmental protection movement all over the world, it has practical significance for us to explore the reasons which cause today 's American ecological value via rethinking the negative reflection of industrial revolution, the influence of environmental move-ment,the improvement of regulations and the affect of literary works on ecological value.
