Based on summarizing the theory of waste plastics resources, the present situation of waste plastics recycling and resource development project were expounded both at home and abroad. From the market flow of waste plastics as the starting point, the potential threat and harm to the ecological environment and human health with recycled waste plastics as the main production material were analyzed. From the two aspects of carcinogens and non-carcinogenic substances in regenerated waste plastics, the environmental safety of waste plastics resource products was evaluated.
