摘要
The innovative product,Phoslock,was developed by CSIRO,Australia,for soluble phosphorus removal from eutrophicat water body.With the achievement of good efficiency in soluble phosphorus removal from water body and the suitable eutrophication control teclmology by Phoslock,the environmental risk assessment for Phoslock treated water body had been conducted for ensuring friendly environmental water purification condition.With the extensive chemical analysis and aquatic organism impact assessments for Phoslock treated water body,the Phoslock treated water body could have high total La and total Ca in short time,but these pollutants would be dropped back to the limited level,and staying even lower than the untreated water body.And the three elements of total La,total Ca and total P in Phoslock treated water body sediment slurry were too much higher than the untreated one,however,with the effective capping activity of Phoslock,these pollutants could be strictly prevented from releasing back to water body.From the successful Phoslock application cases,the Phoslock treated water would be suitable for healthy aquatic water growing.With the extensively environmental risk assessment for Phoslock treated water,it has been proved Phoslock is an environmentally healthy product for water eutrophication control.
