Most of the porphyry Mo ore deposits in the Qinling–Dabie orogenic belt are associated with Late Mesozoic granites. The ore-related granites were derived from partial melting of the subducted continental crust. The Mo source is related to the subducted Mo-rich sedimentary rocks.
