Enhanced photovoltaic performances of bis(pyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole-1,3-dione)-based wide band gap polymer via the incorporation of an appropriate spacer unit between pyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole-1,3-dione units
New wide band gap polymer P(BDTT-TTBDPPD) was prepared. The estimated optical band gap was 2.06 eV. The determined HOMO/LUMO levels were −5.42 eV/−3.36 eV. The estimated hole mobility of P(BDTT-PDBT) was 6.21 × 10−4 cm2V−1s−1. The PSCs made from P(BDTT-TTBDPPD) offered a maximum PCE of 5.37%.
