We investigated the electronic structure and optical properties of As1-xPx binary compounds. We found a continuous band gap tuning by changing the thickness and compositions. We found a transition from direct to indirect band gap with increasing As concentrations. We also found that the optical properties could also be manipulated by changing the thickness and composition.
