Glutamate, central cholinergic, GABAergic deficiency plays a critical role in AD.

vGluT1, vGluT3 and vAChT is more sensitive than vGluT2, vGAT in VD.

At the same time, CA1, CA2, CA3 circuits play an important role in the social, emotional, and temporal n spatial aspects of memory.

20">So, vGlut1, vGlut3 and vAChT may be the important synaptic nerve terminals in CCI-induced VD.
