Analysis of S. campanulata nectar revealed insecticidal activity. The insecticidal activity was analyzed against insect pests of soybean. The insecticide effect of nectar may be related to oxidant capacity. Proteomic assay revealed potential proteins with insecticidal effect. Results may be applied for development of effective insecticides.
