Magnetic phase transitions and MCE in Ho2Cu2Cd were studied. Two successive magnetic phase transitions in Ho2Cu2Cd are observed. Large MCE in a wide temperature range in Ho2Cu2Cd was observed. Ho2Cu2Cd could be a promising candidate for magnetic refrigeration.
