B-DNA-based Ag NCs presented a strong red fluorescence that could stabilize for at least 48 h. The proposed approach had high specificity and sensitivity to biothiols. Fluorescent AgNCs could also be developed to detect selectively the activity of AChE with a detection limit of 0.071 U/L.
