Theoretical approach for deriving bending moments on BRB end connection is proposed. Equivalent rigidity concept is proposed to consider the connection bending behavior. Equivalent rigidity of the connection are determined by FEM analysis. Practical seismic design procedure of BRB welded end connection is presented.
